Highly integrated monitoring and communication:

Man-machine interface: Liquid crystal display (LCD), support for multiple languages, with alphanumeric LCD and navigation buttons, easy to operate.

Digital input and output: Six measuring inputs, four precise current inputs, two electrically isolated digital inputs (three more on the optional thermal resistance module), three normally open power output contacts, and two conversion signal output contacts.

Communication function: Support for local and remote control of relays via serial communication with support for SPA bus, IEC 60870-5-103 or Modbus(RTU and ASCII) communication protocols. Optional rear communication modules support plastic fiber, combined fiber (plastic and glass) or RS-485 connections.

Safety and Reliability:

Self-monitoring system: Continuously monitor the operation of the relay and lock all protection and output contacts in case of internal failure.

2. Application field

ABB REM610 is used in a wide range of motor equipment, especially for motor protection in applications such as pumps, fans, grinders or crushers. It can not only handle the motor start-up, normal operation, idling and shutdown during the cooling of the fault situation, but also can be used with the circuit breaker control and contactor control of the drive device. In addition, the REM610 can be used to protect equipment such as feed cables and power transformers that require thermal overload protection and single-phase, two-phase or three-phase overcurrent or non-directional ground fault protection.
